i. Loras Waters xxxxx ii. Male xxxxx iii. Twenty-twoxxxxx iv. 6'2 xxxxx v. Bastard of House Tyrell

The bastard son of Luthor Tyrell and Aurane Brune, Loras' life has always been an uneven balance between the noble and the common. His father was the Lord of House Tyrell, the warden of the Reach and the King's Master of Coin, and his mother the daughter of a landed knight. Yet, though he was born to nobility, Loras was the result of a decades-long extramarital affair and as such held no title of his own. That didn't, however, mean that he grew up in any sort of significant hardship. Loras was born and raised in King's Landing, growing up in the home that Luthor had provided his beloved mistress. He saw his father often, and due to his parents, was afforded great tutors and opportunities. Through his father, Loras received the offer to squire for the heir to the reach, his half brother Willas Tyrell, and then through his mother, to squire for his uncle, Ser Robb Brune, both of which prestigious offers Loras declined. The pageantry and politics involved in nobility was never of interest to Loras. In fact, while his existence as his father's bastard was hardly a secret and as such was no stranger to the sight of powerful men and women within the city, the only person from that part of his father's life who Loras held any interest in was Pandora, the daughter of another member of the small council who grew to be Loras' closest childhood friend.

While Loras may be the son of a Tyrell, he's didn't inherit the politically ambitious nature. He was always the type who felt more comfortable around those of lower social status, of the comparative authenticity in that different lifestyle. Unfortunately, while Loras is critical of most nobility and politics, that doesn't mean Loras has ever been morally impeccable. Loras is the type who would have likely been a sellsword, had those who hired the type not been the same people who annoyed him endlessly. Generally speaking, he isn't one to look at the bigger picture, searching for the 'greater good'. While he certainly isn't the type who's looking to watch the world burn and does care about the common people in general, at least in theory, his primary concern and motivations are usually far more self-serving, more than willing to take the moral low-ground in most cases to do what he deems necessary.

Victaria Tyrell-- sail among liars

i. Victaria Tyrellxxxxx ii. Femalexxxxxiii. Twentyxxxxxiv. 5'1xxxxxv. Lady of House Tyrell

Image

Born to Luthor Tyrell and Mina Redwyne, Victaria was the Lord and Lady of Highgarden's fourth born child- beating her fraternal twin Alorie in to the world by mere minutes to avoid being the youngest. The two would go on to never get along, the animosity held between them such that it would spark jokes that they had been born 'racing in to the world, quarreling before they left their mother's womb.' Even as a child, Victaria was quite intelligent, her intelligence combining with circumstance to later spark ambition that would be only fueled by her parents. Fortunately, not all ambition is ruthless in nature. While Victaria was never fond of her twin sister, there was another that Victaria always held immense fondness for ever since early childhood- Sorras, the boy who had been brought to Highgarden under terrible circumstances. It was likely in great part due to her knowing him that Victaria held quite a soft spot for children in unfortunate circumstances, going on to devote quite a bit of time to charitable efforts as she grew, with a significant emphasis on orphanages within the Reach.

Compassionate ambition remained ambition all the same, however, and did not leave her naive to the world in it's entirety. On the contrary, her mother made certain she knew it quite well- just as she knew that a woman's best weapon in the world wasn't often a sword. If she wanted to get things done, she was taught, manipulation could be the most effective way. It was something her mother stressed, and through the years, Victaria became quite talented at knowing the roles she had to play. Victaria is measured in nature, and has become quite talented at hiding her emotions, and of biting her tongue when need be. Depending on the situation and the people she is surrounded by, Victaria has a tendency to "dumb herself down", acting as if she isn't nearly as intelligent as she is. Victaria typically embraces the opportunity to be underestimated, exploiting expectations to achieve whatever outcome she is looking for whenever possible. Despite how she may seem, she holds a keen political mind.

Born in the year 1820, Narcisse Chastain was the youngest and third born child to a Catholic French Creole family in New Orleans, Louisiana. His father's side of the family benefited greatly from the prosperity of the port, further working to secure their status among the Creole elite. As such, Narcisse led a rather blessed life. He had a loving mother, was given a great education, with his parents emphasizing its importance as well as his adherence to the church, and in to adulthood, did well for himself through working for his family's company. Narcisse was always more than a bit self indulgent, however, and after much instance from his family, took an extremely devout wife who held his mother's favor more than his own at the age of twenty-four. The marriage resulted in no children, and Narcisse became a widower at the age of twenty-seven after his wife contracted malaria. Narcisse did not remarry, instead spending his days on business dealings and his nights with his friends, family, or a string of women.

Life was good for Narcisse, until it ended. Narcisse was bitten by a vampire in 1853, forever frozen at the age of thirty-three. With that change came quite a bit of adjustment as well as a complete detachment from his previous life, though much of his less than savory behavior continued, if not amplified. Despite himself, Narcisse quickly became attached to the vampire who had bitten him, developing in to a maker-progeny relationship as strong as any other. It was just the two of them for years until his maker created another, and though it took a period of adjustment, the three vampires were quickly an odd family of sorts. For more than a century, Narcisse traveled and inhabited different areas, sometimes alone and other times with his maker or vampire sister. Narcisse had been living alone in London when he learned of his maker's tragic death, the news bringing him back home to New Orleans for the first time in years.

Theodora Thompson -- drinking you down

i. Theodora "Theo" Elizabeth Thompson xxx ii. Female xxx iii. Physically twenty-two xxx iv. 5'9 xxx v. Vampire

Image

Born in 1843, Theodora Thompson was the second born out of a family of nine in rural Louisiana, though she was one of only four to survive childhood. Theo grew up in an impoverished, strict, and very traditional family, with a great emphasis paid to their christian beliefs and helping her mother around the house. As one of the only girls in the family, that primarily meant helping her mother care for the younger children. Life wasn't easy, and it certainly wasn't always pleasant, but it was a taste of the divine compared to life after 1861. Theo was eighteen years old when the American Civil War began, with her father and older brother being sent off to fight in the war not long after. Life during the war was extraordinarily difficult for the young woman, but while she lost a brother to the war and had to help her mother bury a few children in the meantime, her father survived the war. Unfortunately, upon his return, he found the small town riddled with a common outbreak of yellow fever, and Theo was one of those infected.

Fortunately for Theo, the disease didn't take her life. Rather, a vampire grew fond of her before that could happen, and it was through her own transformation that she turned in to that vampire's progeny. After all that she had been endured, Theo handled her transformation quite well. There was a freedom in her new life, a sense of being cared for by her new family of sorts as much as she cared for them, but also being able to focus on herself and her own whims. Theo took full advantage of that freedom, perhaps more than she ever should have. While she lived in several different cities in a few different countries throughout the years with her maker and vampire brother, she always seemed to come back to Louisiana. In 1989, Theo turned another vampire, a young man named Lafayette Thorton, the two developing an incredibly strong bond in the years that followed.

Baelyx Targaryen-- give me every excuse to burn

i. Baelyx Targaryenxxxxx ii. Malexxxxxiii. Twenty-sixxxxxxiv. 6'1xxxxxv. House Targaryen

Image

The thirdborn child of Valyrian dragonlord Aelyx Targaryen and his sister and wife, Daenys Targaryen, Baelyx led a life of great privilege from the moment of his birth. For much of his upbringing he was the 'baby' of the family, doted on endlessly as such especially by his grandmother, and as his older siblings were so much older that they wed each other when he was only an infant, it held true for years. His siblings eventually went on to have a single child born alive, a daughter brought in to the world when Baelyx was thirteen, who was assigned within hours of her birth to be Baelyx's wife when she came of age. When he was fifteen, his grandmother died, leaving to him Syrax, the equally massive and willful she-dragon his grandfather had once rode, the largest dragon within his family. That gift caused disputes between Baelyx and his older brother, but Baelyx had always been the favored one- by both their deceased grandparents, and by Syrax, who Baelyx had spent a great deal of time with during his youth. Despite the disputes and tension, peace was kept in the house, thanks in no small part to Aelyx keeping the two separated until the elder man's resentments would begin to fade, though never to dissipate wholly in to oblivion. In the following years, Baelyx spent much of his time with Syrax, easily spending more time in the air then he did on the ground. He would make frequent trips between Valyria and Lys, visiting the beautiful city for both family-related business and his own personal pleasure, and would spend his time at home with Syrax and his young strong-willed niece, the beloved child who was meant to one day become his wife, though that certainly wasn't reflected in the current nature of their relationship. His constant flights and travels between the two cities excluded, life seemed to be headed in a rather predictable direction for the young man- until, of course, he began to be plagued by visions that would uproot everything he thought he knew of his existence.

Ashara Jordayne-- restless soul in the desert sand

i. Lady Ashara Jordaynexxxxx ii. Femalexxxxxiii. Twenty-threexxxxxiv. 5'5xxxxxv. House Jordayne

Born at the Tor, Ashara was the fourth and final trueborn child of Lord Trebor Jordayne and his wife Lady Myria Manwoody, though Lord Trebor fathered more than his share of bastards through the years. All included, Ashara would go on to have eight siblings, and yet of all of them, she was the only daughter. Her mother died of natural causes when Ashara was still just a child, and though her father had many lovers through the years and even settled on a paramour, he never remarried. Raised by not only her father, but in part by her brothers and a revolving selection of her father's lovers, Ashara may have been motherless but was certainly never unloved. Ashara had a happy childhood, but with the amount of men in her family and their way of juggling lovers, she was was never sheltered from the more traditionally scandalous aspects of the world. While Ashara certainly never burned through lovers like the men in her family so often did, the passion of Dorne always existed within her. It was a part of who she was, in everything that she did- passionate, full of emotion with the ability to both love and hate in equal measure and with a sense of absolution that could echo through the very essence of her soul. Ashara had a great adoration for her home as well, and for Dorne as a whole, often found outside even in the long summers, splashing about in the waters of the Sea of Dorne outside her family's home or in the gardens within the gates of Tor, or even just dancing barefoot late in to the evening under the moonlit sky. Always under the impression that she would one day be forced to leave her beautiful Dorne as she had been promised to a Lannister heir since her youth, Ashara was not only surprised but elated when arrangements were made for her to marry a Prince of Dorne instead. As an early wedding present, Ashara's closest brother gave her a young cockatoo from Essos, who she would name Rayne.
