Born in a small port town on the eastern coast of Dranaeyos, Zakar was the first and only child born to a traveling merchant and his wife. Accidentally conceived during a drunken home welcoming, Zakar was never planned but was loved nonetheless. He had a warm and happy childhood, remaining home with his mother early in his life, yet able to see his father when he regularly returned home. Still, even as a young child, Zakar longed to join his father on his ship, to experience life aboard the enticing vessel and to visit other places. After years of pestering, his parents relented when he was twelve, allowing him to join his father for the first time. Zakar was quick to become enchanted, enjoying little more than being in the open waters or visiting new places. He spent his teenage years joining on trips whenever he was allowed, helping on deck, and when at port, learning the hustle of a merchant with his father by day and methods of a less savory sort over cards and rum in the taverns by night. Shortly after he left home at nineteen, he met a captain looking for new crew, and sailed with the man for two years before going off on his own. With confidence, experience, and nearly a decade of hustling behind him, Zakar did well for himself, and by the age of twenty-six even found himself with his own ship. That wasn’t to say his path was an easy one, however, as it came at a cost, leading to the loss of a lover and his hand alike. Fueled forward by rum, ambition, and a hunger for revenge, Zakar persisted onward, his goals seeming closer within his grasp than ever when his services were requested by the presumed future Queen of Dranaeyos.

Born to the prince of Sunspear and his wife, Emmalia was a welcome accident, the second child of two older parents who had welcomed a son twenty years prior and underestimated their chances of conceiving another child. Despite their joy at the time of her conception, however, circumstances were quick to change. Emmalia’s father died of a sudden heart attack when she was two years old, leaving her underprepared twenty-two year old brother as the head of the family and mother heartbroken beyond reasoning. Despite best intentions, her brother focused on his duties and her mother became consumed by grief, leaving Emmalia’s childhood a lonely one, with her father’s previous squire becoming the only true guardian figure in her life and her truest friend. Thankfully, things changed as she grew older, as puberty was kind to Emmalia. Clinging to the new attention she gained, Emmalia took a paramour at fifteen. It ended poorly and quickly, the decisions she made resulting in her permanent infertility. Following the end of the relationship, Emmalia spent the proceeding years satiating her strong carnal desires and need for connection through the accumulation of a harem and hosting grand orgies with the many women she would meet, practices she would become most known for. It wasn’t until she was twenty-three that her lifestyle changed, spurred on by the death of her brother which left her and her grieving mother with Emmalia’s beloved and newly orphaned nephew. The death caused her to finally take on responsibility, and Emmalia was quick to take on the toddler’s care, caring for her nephew as if he was her own. Life was stable, her nephew her world, until it was disrupted two years later when a violent drunken night left Emmalia under the care of a maester for the months that followed, a time in which Emmalia made arrangements for her nephew to be fostered by family in House Targaryen Martell. Without her nephew when she recovered, Emmalia nearly returned to the same lifestyle she had held before him, but was milder, as her years with the boy and experiences had undeniably changed her.

The eldest son of titans Cronus and Rhea, Hades was consumed by his power-hungry father soon after his birth. It was a fate all but one of his siblings would meet, and when his youngest brother, Zeus, finally came of age, Cronus was tricked so that Hades was freed with his siblings. The long years that followed saw the Titanomachy, a bloody ten-year war between the titans and the Olympians for dominion over the universe. The war was eventually won by the Olympians and their allies, and domains were then divided by Cronus' three sons. While his brothers took control of the sky and the seas, Hades became King of the Underworld. Unlike his siblings and the other Olympians who would spend varying degrees of their time on Mount Olympus, Hades would rarely visit the divine land, instead resigning himself to his own domain deep within the earth. He could easily go centuries without leaving the Underworld, watching over his subjects with only the company of the few living attendees of his kingdom and the visitors he allowed. Hades had the temperament for his rule, as he was stern and unyielding to most, incapable of being moved by sacrifice or prayer, yet he wasn't substantially if ever motivated by arrogance, wrath, or lust, as his brothers so often were. Rather, he took his domain and his responsibility within it seriously, and for his very nature, wasn't thought of fondly by the other gods or by mortals. Along with being the god of the dead, Hades was the god of wealth, as within his domain laid the gems and precious metals of the earth. Much of his time was spent within the silver and gold walls of his elaborate palace deep within his kingdom, a place that could only be found by others if Hades allowed it. When not there he would be most often found with Cerberus, his multi-headed guard dog that both gods and men alike would fear.

i. Sekhmetxxxxxii. Femalexxxxxiii. 5’5xxxxxiv. Egyptian Pantheonxxxxxv. Eye of Raxxxxx

Among the oldest gods of her kind, Sekhmet was created during a time of disorder, when Ra had weakened and mortals became defiant and lacking respect for the gods. Insulted, Ra sought to punish them, plucking out his own eye, the divinity forming Sekhmet. Immediately upon her creation, Ra ordered her to seek retribution upon humanity. The young goddess obliged, but was more powerful than her creator realized, the devestation she was capable of more than he intended. Sekhmet was overcome with blood lust, the slaughter she sought unimaginable, and when Ra finally witnessed the carnage and realized the mistake he had made, it was too late. Unable to be reasoned with and too strong to be stopped by Ra in his weakened state or the other gods who feared her, the massacre continued for years. Finally, desperate to stop her, Ra enlisted the help of the other guards to trick her and drug her. It worked, and with the help of Ra, when she awoke she was freed of her mindless bloodthirst. Feared and respected, Sekhmet became the goddess of war, destruction, plague, and healing. Just as she was the destroyer of Ra’s enemies, she became a protector during times of war.

Lucaerys Targaryen--- still shatters always

xxxxxxxi. Prince Lucaerys Targaryenxxxxxxxii. Malexxxxxxxiii. Twenty-sevenxxxxxxxiv. 6'xxxxxxxv. Prince of House Targaryen

Image

The third born child and second born son of the head of House Targaryen, Lucaerys was born in to a life that was enviable to most. He was a prince of House Targaryen; a second son so not to be the heir of the iron throne, but a prince born of the proud blood of Old Valyria all the same. He was a dragon rider, bonded to the she-dragon Veraxem since childhood. Privileges befitting his title were afforded him since birth, as were the expectations set upon him, the most notable of which coming in the form of a betrothal to his younger sister who he resented before she drew her first breath, a relationship which hardly improved as the years went on. Lucaerys was always closer to his older two siblings than he was his younger three, gravitating towards them over the others even as they grew more intimidating and they married each other while his own impending marriage was drawing closer. Never an overtly gentle soul, his temper and belief systems were only strengthened through his family, leaving him rather desensitized to the thought of the use of violence. While not inherently a sadist in most matters, the well-being of himself and his house always seemed unquestionably the most important factor, the use of force or dragon fire seemingly an obvious option when deemed necessary- a bar not as high as it might be for most, given his quick temper and arrogance. Spoiled and entitled, Lucaerys was raised with people to look after his every need, causing him to develop something of a dependency on them for many simple tasks. Still, he was usually able to hold his own where it was believed to count. Having trained with a master-at-arms since childhood, Lucaerys was well trained with a sword, and if he ever was to be put in a position where that wasn't enough, he had a loyal adult dragon that never strayed far from him.

Serion Brune--- climbing on my desire

xxxxxxxi. Serion Brunexxxxxxxii. Malexxxxxxxiii. Twenty-twoxxxxxxxiv. 6'2xxxxxxxv. Outlaw of House Brune

Image

While he may not have been born from a Great House, or even from one of historical noble blood, Serion Brune had an upbringing to be envied by most commoners. The second born son of three to a landed knight from House Brune, Serion had a comfortable life with a good parents who loved him and his brothers alike. Even when circumstances called him to leave his family's estate to reside instead in King's Landing as just a child, life was just as good- better, even. It was during his years in the capitol of the the Seven Kingdoms that he would come to know one of the princesses of the ruling House Targaryen, befriending the beautiful princess before falling completely and irrevocably in love with her even in their youth, even if he knew that nothing would come to be from it- not only due to titles, but the fact that she had already been promised to another, arranged to marry her own brother in accordance to Targaryen tradition. Still, life was good, and he enjoyed every opportunity he was given to see her even as he began squiring at a young age, enchanted with the prospect of becoming a knight like his father since he was just a young boy. He trained tirelessly with a sword during his years as a squire, the training coming to a head when he was called away from King's Landing as just a teenager, heading off to battle.

The experienced changed his life more than he could have anticipated. It led to the death of his older brother and a sense of disenchantment of any titles and nobility- a combination which changed a part of him so completely that it could never be fixed, and which led to an encounter which only served to further derail all that he had worked for. Serion's head was called for, a price put upon it, but Serion did not succumb to the orders of a lord. Rather, he became an outlaw, surviving for years outside of the law of the realm, relying on himself and his sword to survive. His boldness and confidence only grew as he became a young man, and when news of a tournament spread, Serion did not hesitate in his decision to attend the event- not after he realized that his beloved princess would be in attendance.

Alaysha Martell--- a morning sunrise

xxxxxxxi. Princess Alaysha Martellxxxxxxxii. Femalexxxxxxxiii. Thirtyxxxxxxxiv. 5'5xxxxxxxv. Princess of House Martell

Image

The second born daughter of the head of House Martell, Alaysha had a life full of the pleasures that came with her status as a princess of Dorne without the responsibilities of being the eldest or heir to the great house. She was one of four daughters and held no resentment or ill-will towards any of her sisters beyond petty sibling squabbles the likes of which were exceedingly rare for her to take part in, instead carrying a deep and unconditional love for her sisters. Alaysha was always an intelligent girl and an exceedingly good listener- so much so that she may have very well been a talented Master of Whispers for the gossip she had a talent for obtaining and the secrets she always seemed to know and keep, had she not been born a princess of Dorne. Still, for the ease in which she obtained information and all the secrets she tended to keep, she was surprisingly unapologetically open and free with being herself. She held little in the way of her own personal ambitions, focusing instead on family and her own desires and passions in life. Alaysha never married, nor did she ever intend to unless such an arrangement was made beyond her control- not that she was against the idea of marriage, as she held a romantic heart, but rather because she had never possessed any desire to lay with a man, instead possessing an attraction for other women. When not spending time with her family, she could often be found with her beloved canine companion, Tryst, enjoying the pleasures that Sunspear and the Water Gardens had to offer, or in the brothels, indulging in different lovers. Hearing from a young age that those north of Dorne did not have the tendency to accept those like her or accept a woman's worth like they did a mans, Alaysha grew up with a bias against the ways and beliefs of many outside the region she called home. She was confident and without apologies, though she held little desire to spend time in such restrictive places. Alaysha could be playful, teasing, and sarcastic to those who she was closest to, though with them it was out of nothing but love.

Valaena Targaryen--- meaner than my demons

xxxxxxxi. Princess Valaena Targaryenxxxxxxxii. Femalexxxxxxxiii. Twenty-eightxxxxxxxiv. 5'7xxxxxxxv. Princess of House Targaryen

The second born child but eldest daughter of the head of House Targaryen, Valaena's destiny was clear from the moment she was brought in to the world. She was a princess, and in accordance to Valyrian tradition, was to one day be queen as the wife of her older brother and the family's heir, Raemar. Unlike some who might resent their fate or the nature of it, however, Valaena embraced it even as a child. She was always proud of her Valyrian blood, taking the traditions that stemmed from that bloodline as nearly sacred, giving far more reverence to them than nearly anything else in life. Even beyond that was her fondness for her brother, a crush that quickly developed in to love as she grew older, further aiding her in not dreading the day that they would wed, but rather eagerly anticipating it. They married when she was twenty years old. Besides her husband, however, Valaena's affections were rarely spotted. The only other reliable exceptions were Lucaerys, her brother one year her junior who she had in large part grew up beside, and dragons, especially close with her own dragon Meraxes. Outside of them, her relationships with others, even with those within her own family, were often far more complicated. Valaena's focus was always on her husband and the strength and future of their house that would one day be ruled by their descendants, and that led little room for tolerance of those that might weaken that position and little use for people outside of the family. Even beyond that, she felt disinterested or annoyed by most. Valaena was arrogant and quick to resort to violence, caring little for the suffering of others if she was angered, felt disrespected, or if their suffering was necessary to further the position of House Targaryen. Her tactics and inclinations could be brutal and merciless, far too willing to make what others might deem as the hard choice, and hardly above the use of displays of force. She wasn't one to be crossed or disrespected, and made no attempt to hide how dangerous she could be. For all of her brutal inclinations, a love for her husband, an affection for her brother, an adoration for dragons and soaring through the skies, as well as desire for children remained dearest to her, undoubtedly her greatest weaknesses.
